Backstage Blondes, an Instagram series highlighting Richmond's live music scene.
My role:
Designing identities from scratch, managing shoots, and making the Richmond music scene look good online.*

My strategic partner, Katie Dunn and I teamed up to bring the Richmond music scene closer to its fans. We wanted to highlight the behind-the-scenes energy, personality, and stories that don’t usually make it online. Every step, from researching, to interviewing, to designing visuals and posting on Instagram, is a labor of love for live music and the city we both grew up in.
Together, we're turning local music culture into a vibrant, interactive social experience.

We sit down with Richmond bands where they feel most at home, and capture their stories beyond the performances. It's about real conversations and real energy.
Each interview is a chance to highlight the personalities, dynamics, and humor that make every band unique, then translate it into a visual story on Instagram.
